Are you interested in becoming a Bardwell Parish Councillor? An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual to get involved with this active parish council. More information to follow, but in the meanwhile have a read of The Good Councillor’s Guide to get an overview of what the role entails.
If 10 electors request it, then an election will be held: the requests must be submitted to the West Suffolk Council Returning Officer (not to Bardwell Parish Council). If there has been no request for an election by the relevant date ie if an election is not to be held, the law requires your Council to co-opt a person to fill the vacancy “as soon as practicable after the expiry of the period of 14 days”
