We will be welcoming a project manager from Anglia Water to this meeting, who will be talking about the Black Bourne River project. You may have read a very interesting article about this in the May issue of Bardwell Village News, if not you can open BVN online from this link: see page 36.
The May meeting is the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council at which the Chair for the forthcoming year is elected and – normally – accounts are received, and governance matters dealt with ie: policies reviewed, councillor roles are agreed etc. However, due to the recent major incident in the village we have reviewed the content of this meeting’s agenda and, with the exception of the election of chair, the majority of the other items will be included in an additional meeting to be held in May date to be confirmed.
